Community Connection - 211 Central East Ontario
211 is a free, confidential, 24/7 community resource that helps connect individuals with programs and services to help meet their unique needs. Finding the help you need can be difficult, especially when facing the obstacles created by poverty and isolation; 211’s Community Navigators are equipped to help individuals and families better understand problems they may be facing and help them connect with the help they need.

CONTACT Community Services offers five main services:
EMPLOYMENT SERVICES connects people seeking to obtain meaningful work to employers, provides resume and skills training, and second career-specific upgrades and certifications.
HOUSING SERVICES provides support services to people who are experiencing, or who are at imminent risk of experiencing homelessness to help them secure and sustain safe housing.
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS include the "New Horizons" social wellness program for isolated Seniors, and the Needle Exchange Program, to help keep those who use substances safe.
VOLUNTEER SERVICES connects people to opportunities to strengthen their skill sets and give back to local organizations that rely on volunteers to make their work possible.
THE CLOTHESLINE is a community thrift store, that provides free and affordable items to South Simcoe’s residents, as well as volunteer opportunities for people from all walks of life.

The Krasman Centre – Drop-In Centre located in Alliston
Offers peer support-based programs, physical hubs, and resources for people with lived experience, substance use and housing challenges, their family, and friends. The Drop-In Centre is a supportive space that helps people help themselves, and one another, and provides access to basic necessities such as food, snacks, clothing, and outdoor survival items to those facing food insecurity and living in poverty. Peer outreach supports available as well.

Bradford Out of the Cold Café and Warming Centre - WOW Living
Located in Bradford, at 31 Frederick St., the Out of the Cold Café provides people living in poverty with the tools and resources they need to strengthen stability and increase resiliency.
Guests are welcome to come and enjoy delicious warm meals provided by local restaurants and churches. The Cafe has free internet, computers, printers, a fax machine and an amazing TEAM of volunteers to assist you whenever possible.
Guests who do not have their own phone are welcome to use the Cafe phone to contact local shelters and agencies.
During the winter months, the space also operates as the South Simcoe Warming Centre during extreme cold alerts. Call the number listed below to inquire about availability.

The Gilbert Centre
The Gilbert Centre is a community-based, not-for-profit, charitable organization that provides programs and services throughout Simcoe County. They are committed to the greater involvement and meaningful engagement of people living with HIV/AIDS (GIPA/MIPA). They engage all those who live, work with and are affected by HIV/AIDS and their allies in a culture of inclusivity intended to foster an expanding and inclusive approach that embraces those living with HIV in all their diversity and circumstances.
The Gilbert Centre recognizes and respects all human rights, identities, and experiences. People who identify as lesbian, gay, bi, trans, two spirit, and all queer and trans people are welcomed and supported.

Youth Haven – Outreach Counselling Supports in South Simcoe
Youth Haven provides outreach counselling and support services to youth ages 16-24 and their families throughout the County of Simcoe with offices in Barrie, Orillia, South Simcoe, and Midland. Some of these services include:
